Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of southocautos.com and any offer you request from South OC Autos. By using the site or sending us your vehicle details, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

South OC Autos is a licensed California vehicle dealer, license #94258. We buy vehicles from private sellers in Orange County. We hold a wholesale license, so we do not sell vehicles to the public, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell you a vehicle.

2. Offers

Any number we give you before we see the vehicle, whether by text, phone, email or through the offer form, is based on the details and photos you send. It is not a binding offer. A price is final only after we have looked at the vehicle in person, confirmed the title and any loan payoff, and we both agree to it.

Asking for an offer is free, and you are never obligated to accept one. We may also decline to make an offer on any vehicle.

3. What you agree to when you send us your vehicle

You agree that the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge, including the year, make, model, mileage, condition, title status and any money still owed. You also confirm that you own the vehicle, or are legally allowed to sell it. We buy vehicles with a clean title in the seller’s name. See the FAQ for what we can and cannot buy.

4. Payment and paperwork

We pay by cashier’s check at the time of sale, and we handle the DMV paperwork for the transfer. If you still owe money on the vehicle, we pay your lender directly and you receive any difference. This website does not take payments and does not create user accounts.

5. Information on this site

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but its content is general information, not legal, tax or DMV advice. We may change or remove content at any time. To the extent allowed by law, the site is provided as is, and we are not responsible for losses that come from using it or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under California law.

6. Other websites

Some links and features, such as Google reviews, come from other companies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Privacy

How we collect and use your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
